Scott Ponsor, Founder & CEO

Scott Ponsor, CEO, is a US Air Force veteran with more than 15 years' experience working with DARPA to advance DoD capabilities and eliminate strategic surprise.

Scott Ponsor is the founder and CEO of Kymberg Consulting and Technologies. He is a research engineer, program manager, and former US Air Force officer with more than two decades of experience developing, testing, and transitioning advanced defense technologies.

Scott served as an air battle manager in the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and then within Ground Theater Air Controls Systems. He deployed to Afghanistan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Columbia, and Ecuador. Scott has supported the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), U.S. Navy, and other Department of Defense organizations through leadership roles at BearingPoint, Deloitte, System Planning Corporation, Barone Consulting, and Kymberg.

His work spans autonomous systems, tactical command and control, airborne networking, electronic warfare, radar systems, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing.

Scott continues to lead planning and execution for operational demonstrations and field experiments, translating emerging technologies into practical military capabilities. He founded Kymberg to advance that mission by developing affordable, rapidly deployable solutions that solve operational problems and accelerate technology transition for government customers.

Giles Miller, Strategic Advisor

Giles Miller is a strategic advisor to Kymberg and deputy commander of the 183rd Air Operations Group, Illinois Air National Guard.

Giles Miller is a strategic advisor to Kymberg Consulting and Technologies, helping shape the company’s strategy for delivering innovative capabilities to the US Department of Defense and allied partners.

He currently serves as deputy commander of the 183rd Air Operations Group, Illinois Air National Guard, where he provides operational leadership for one of the Air Force’s premier intelligence, surveillance, and air operations organizations. During more than two decades of military service, he has supported operations across the Caribbean, Central America, South America, the Middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar, including assignments with US Southern Command and US Air Forces Southern.

In addition to his military service, Giles is co-president of Phoenix Closures, a fifth-generation family-owned manufacturing company and the largest privately held closure manufacturer in the United States. His experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations provides practical insight into product development, supply chains, operational execution, and business growth.

At Kymberg, Giles advises on operational concepts, government engagement, strategic partnerships, and technology transition, helping align emerging capabilities with real-world mission requirements.

Karl Wright, Strategic Advisor

Karl Wright is a strategic advisor to Kymberg and an IT professional with more than 20 years' industry experience.

Karl Wright is a strategic advisor to Kymberg Consulting and Technologies, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in information technology, data operations, network administration, cybersecurity, and technical support.

Karl currently serves as IT manager for Hayes & Stolz Industrial Manufacturing, where he supports the technology infrastructure of a precision manufacturing business. His previous experience includes administering enterprise networks serving more than 90 locations and 3,000 users, managing cloud and on-premises systems, integrating newly acquired business units, maintaining security and communications systems, and leading organization-wide technology projects.

Since 2015, Karl has also supported Major League Baseball data operations, maintaining and troubleshooting cameras, Doppler radar, tracking systems, servers, and data feeds used during live games. His work requires rapid problem-solving, careful validation of system accuracy, and close coordination with technical teams, broadcasters, and ball clubs.

Karl advises Kymberg on information technology, cybersecurity, data management, systems integration, and the practical deployment and support of technology in operational environments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tulane University and an associate degree in computer and information systems security from Tarrant County College.

Samy Itani, Sales Operations Director

Samy Itani is Kymberg's sales operations director and a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Samy Itani is the director of sales operations for Kymberg Consulting and Technologies. He currently serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves in the Plans, Programs, and Future Operations cell, overseeing battalion-level planning, transportation coordination, and resource management for seven subordinate units. He leads synchronization across staff sections through the military decision-making process and publishes all formal operations orders.

Samy has experience managing and delivering customer service for commercial clients that provide internet security and communications solutions to international and government clients. He advises Kymberg on pricing models, sustained support, and customer engagement.
