KYMBERG CONSULTING AND TECHNOLOGIES develops innovative applications to address novel and complex federal, military and civilian challenges.
Kymberg Consulting and Technologies develops future-focused federal, military and civilian solutions to protect people, warfighters and US national security interests.
Remote Unmanned Radar (RUnR)
Kymberg Consulting and Technologies is prototyping a low cost, sustainable, reliable, and deployable radar system for Department of Defense (DoD), government or industry use. The RUnR system is a service based solution providing C2/ISR* data and connectivity for surveillance or training needs.
The prototype capitalizes on Kymberg’s extensive operational and developmental experience with radar systems and datalinks. The end result is an automated radar system that can be deployed for training or operational needs at a fraction of the cost of utilizing manned tactical radar systems.
Currently in initial testing, Kymberg is refining RUnR system capabilities through use and operational trials to develop a reliable fleet of deployable radar assets that can be used at scheduled training, range support or security events, or in response to emergencies.

Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems
Kymberg Consulting and Technologies is developing a prototype system for low collateral damage counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) capability to address collateral and civilian defense gaps.
Currently fielded C-UAS systems have significant limitations when placed near key infrastructure. Kinetic and non-kinetic options to down a drone can lead to errant engagements and threaten the elements and people we intend to protect. These are acceptable risks in open conflict, but not for the defense of civilian events and infrastructure. Most often, their deployment at these events put more assets at risk.
- With increased drone use by amateur enthusiasts and bad actors, we need the capability, for example, to counteract a small UAS over an airport without risking a .50 caliber hole in an aircraft.
- Similarly, using a directed energy weapon to eliminate a UAS flying over the Albuquerque Balloon Festival isn’t a viable option.
Kymberg is developing the answer—a low cost, scalable counter-UAS solution that can reliably intercept small UAS threats without endangering people or facilities.
Gaming for Training
Kymberg Consulting and Technologies is developing commercially accessible video games that emphasize the decision logic and related skills used by active duty service members.
Software developed by Kymberg under the brand DullBoy Games leverages technology for the key skill development that outdated games teach. For example, the board game Clue teaches players the process of elimination. Similarly, Battleship develops search pattern optimization.
With this as a starting point, DullBoy Games uses modern gaming language and entertainment value to reinforce complicated concepts used by military members while abstracting operationally sensitive items. Only informed warfighters would recognize the utility of the games as a potential training tool.
The commercial application of these games is not intended to replace any proven initial or qualification training but instead augment the skills required by operational service members. If needed, DullBoy Games can also be rapidly adapted as training tools for proficiency maintenance and skill development with DoD required context and data at appropriate classification levels.
